You will receive enough compressed coco coir to fill 1 of our Figopolis brand 4"x4"x9.5" tree pots. Just add hot water following the included directions and your coco coir will be ready for anything extra you wish to add, such as our Figopolis brand Organic Perlite to increase drainage. You can also plant directly into the expanded coco coir as soon as it is cool enough to handle.
For growing out our own cuttings, we use only organic coco coir with some organic perlite mixed in to aid with drainage.
Coco coir is a natural fiber that comes from discarded coconut husks. It is a renewable resource and an excellent use for otherwise unused coconut husks. Our organic coco coir is 100% naturally grown, and is fully soaked several times by rain over an 18 month period then allowed to dry in the sun. This ensures the salt content in our Figopolis brand coco coir is below 0.3-0.5mS/m and a pH of 6.0-6.5
